By accessing or using SurgeBattle (surgebattle.com), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. We may update these terms at any time — continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SurgeBattle. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement. Users under 18 should have parental consent before participating.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. Do not share your password or allow others to access your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms at our discretion, with or without notice.

4. Community Rules

SurgeBattle is a debate and voting community. To keep it fair and fun for everyone, the following are strictly prohibited:

• Harassment, hate speech, or targeted abuse of any user
• Spamming, vote manipulation, or creating multiple accounts to game the system
• Posting content that is illegal, defamatory, or violates the rights of others
• Sharing personal information of others without their consent (doxxing)
• Impersonating another person or misrepresenting your identity
• Posting explicit, sexually graphic, or otherwise NSFW content
• Linking to malware, phishing sites, or other harmful content

Violations may result in content removal, temporary suspension, or a permanent ban depending on severity.

5. Voting & Surge Points

Surge Points are earned through genuine participation — voting, commenting, and forum activity. Any attempt to artificially inflate your points through bots, scripts, or coordinated manipulation is a violation of these Terms and will result in a ban and point reset.

Surge Points have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash or prizes.

6. Content You Post

You retain ownership of content you post on SurgeBattle. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and promote that content on our platform.

You are solely responsible for what you post. Do not post content you don't have the rights to share.

7. Our Content & Platform

All SurgeBattle branding, design, code, and platform features are owned by SurgeBattle. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute our platform or content without explicit written permission.

8. Moderation

SurgeBattle moderators may remove content, warn users, or take action on accounts that violate these Terms. Moderation decisions are made at our discretion. You can appeal a moderation decision by contacting us through the contact page.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

SurgeBattle is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the platform will meet your expectations. Use the platform at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SurgeBattle shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including loss of data or account access.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes will be handled through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration.
